Intial Fitness Evaluation (2-3 hours) which includes: Metabolism Analysis High Grade VO2 Max Cardiovascular Testing Flexibility Analysis (of major muscle groups and joints) Strength Assessment (of major muscle groups) Blood Pressure Resting Heart Rate Weight Electrolipographic Body Fat Analysis and Caliper Body Fat Testing Nutritional/ Lifestyle Analysis Before/ After Photos Circumference Measurements Fact Finding: Medical History, Goal Formation, Personal Committment Contract, Metabolism Efficency Checklist, Informed Consent, Fitness Plan Implementation Strategies etc.)
The evaluation will also include: BMI Hip-to-Waist Ratio Cardiovascular Risk Stratification Sit-and-Reach Box
E ach participant will receive a custom designed fitness plan developed from the data from the fitness evaluation
W e will track each participants food and exercise journals through an online data log (This will allow the trainers to effectively advise each participant about behavioral change and body fat loss expectation every 2-weeks)
E ach participant will receive (3) personal training sessions to be used at the challengers will (we recommend that participants use the training sessions after the initial fitness evaluation and at each 4-week juncture thereafter in order to revamp the existing fitness plan)
A ccess to at least (10) free Health/ Fitness Workshops with guest speakers: Registered Dietician, Nutritionist and Diabetes Specialist Sharon Hawks is the owner and director of the Nutrition and Diabetes Education Center (NADEC), where she delivers nutrition education and counseling to private patients in areas of medically diagnosed diseases, such as: diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, morbid obesity, eating disorders, pre and post gastric by-pass, etc. Registered Dietician and Nutritionist Natalie Webb is a Board Member for the American Dietetic Association, President of the Nutrition Network and a dietician/nutritionist for many notable professional athletes (NBA players).

American College of Sports Medicine Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist Yusef Battle is the Founder of The Fit Solution. As The Challenge expert on metabolism, he will conduct the "Metabolism Boosting Tips" workshop.
The Fit Solution "Learn-by-Doing" exercise workshops. All the Learn-by-Doing Exercise Workshops will be conducted by The Fit Solution training staff...wear your clothes ready to workout)
T he Fit Solution staff will conduct Weight and Electrolipographic Body Fat testing every 2-weeks to ensure that each participant is progressing.
W eigh-Ins at every class starting in February
W e will collect food logs at every weekly nutrition or exercise class
S urvival of the Fittest T-Shirt
U nlimited telephone and email fitness support for the 12-week period
C losing Fitness Evaluation (2-3 hours) (includes all of the components of the initial evaluation except the VO2 Max and Resting Metabolism test)
A nother benefit of joining the 12-week challenge is that each participant has the opportunity of purchasing additional personal training sessions at a reduced rate if they choose (regular price for 1-hour is $99; Survival entrants can get that session for $79)
The cost for the Survival of the Fittest Challenge is only $799 for 12 weeks. We are adding extra incentive for participants who enroll in January 2008...they will recieve a $200 price break! If you join on or before January 30th, you will pay $599 instead of $799! We also have payment plan options. If you choose to pay every 4-weeks the cost will be $225 each time (if you join in January). If you choose to join in February and want to pay every 4-weeks the cost will be $299 each time.
