 | | Yusef with former teammate Jay Walker at the induction ceremony for the Howard University Athletic Hall of Fame. After a storied collegiate football career quarterbacking the Howard Bison and playing four seasons in the NFL for the New England Patriots and Minnesota Vikings, Jay Walker returned to the Washington area,where he founded Walker Financial Services. Jay is also a play-by-play, sports commentator/analyst for ESPN.
He also established the Sky Walker Flight School, a free camp for high school football players. The camp also includes current and former NFL players coaching and providing guidance for players at every position, including former Washington Redskins running back Brian Mitchell and former Super Bowl most valuable player Terrell Davis coaching running backs. Walker also said the camp gives him an opportunity to interact with 150 high school kids. He was elected to serve on the Democratic Central Committee in Prince George's County during the 2004 election cycle. Walker announced his candidacy for a seat in the Maryland House of Delegates representing District 26.
